Hello, my name is Rich, Independent Team Beachbody Coach!

It's funny how clicking one button can change your life. When I  think about my life over the last 12 months...it has been a pretty  amazing journey. It all started with accepting a Facebook "friend  request", somebody who would later become my Beachbody coach and a good friend of mine.

January 2010 marked 1 year after my marriage had ended. Because of that, I had lived most of 2009 in mild depression. Consequently, I did not pay attention at all to my health. The food I put in my body was "less than healthy", I did not  exercise, I had no energy.

Not liking the direction my life was going, I decided to do something about it. Through my Beachbody coach, I bought the DVD series, "P90x". Wow! Incredible product! I had great results...30 days, 60 days, 90 days later! I was hooked. Then, after "P90x Plus"...I knew this was a lifestyle that I could not turn away from! I started getting complements quite often. People who had not  seen me in years (heck...even months) were blown away with my progress.

Beyond just looking better--there were so many other benefits to the fitness program. I have vast amounts of energy. My blood pressure has  decreased. My confidence is so much greater. My mental and emotional state are better than ever. By taking care of myself---taking  responsibility for my life and my fitness...I found so much freedom and  happiness! My fitness journey has given me new levels of mental strength and focus. I have really taken a different approach to life. I find that I have so much optimism...and a love for life.

My transformation has affected me so greatly, I decided to become a Beachbody coach myself. I have used P90x, P90x plus, and INSANITY. I believe in these products. They really work! I am really just an ordinary guy...and if I can do it...you can too, and I want to help you improve your life through fitness! --I  have been blessed with a free gym membership for the last 13 years. In  13 years...you would think that I would be in seriously great shape.  The truth is...I was only in average shape....until I discovered  Beachbody. The reason for this is because I really did not know what I  was doing inside the gym, and I could not afford a personal trainer. As  such, I was left to my own devices...doing what I "thought" would be  good workouts. Occasionally, I would pick up a magazine and try a few workouts from that. The result...muscle soreness, so bad that I would  not be able to move my arm for nearly a week! Why...because I did not  know any better. This just ended up discouraging me...and I would not go to the gym often.

Another reason why the gym was not very  effective for me was because I was intimidated by people who I perceived "knew what they were doing." I was intimidated by all the muscular  people in there as well. Let me explain how Beachbody changed all that.

P90x and Tony Horton took all the guess work out if it! Having a personal trainer in privacy of my own living room was great! Tony does a great job explaining the hows and whys of each exercise. He has a  unique way of keeping you motivated throughout the program. The workouts are specifically tailored for maximum results. And, after going through both P90x and P90x Plus, I have learned so much about fitness and am learning more all the time. My goal is to help as many people as I can---I have developed a passion for fitness, and I want to share this with you!
